Could I Still Be Pregnant Despite Having Spotting After Having Ipills?
Hi, my girlfriend was supposed to get her period this week but today she only had a VERY little amount of blood, she is on a birth control pill and only has two days left to get her period. Should I be worried that she is pregnant and if she is what can I do to get rid of it? She was taking antibiotics at the time on top of her pill so did that make it ineffective?
Hi, after reading your query i suggest you to get an ultrasound pelvis to rule out birth controlling pills may cause ectopic pregnacy (pregnancy in tubes) . In the ultrasiund they will tell you the age of pregnancy in weeks if it is present, then you can plan according to the weeks by gynecologist. About antibiotics, you did not mentioned what is the type of antibiotic ..mainly anti tuberculosis and some other drugs can decrease the effect of oral contraceptive pills... consult a gynecologist soon... thank you
